Zach Ziye Zhang is a current student at George Washington University’s Elliott School of International affairs concentrating in international organizations and Asia. His interest in international affairs stemmed from his international education in a high school with students from over 150 countries and his experience living and interning in Beijing. Such experiences cemented his passion for international relations and offered him a unique perspective on hot topics such as US-China relations and freedom of the press in authoritarian states. Zach inspires to pursue a career in international law or work in an international organization in the future. When he’s not busy keeping up with the latest current affair developments, he enjoys playing tennis and checking in with his friends from around the world.
